Pita bread filled later than mince, capsicum and Moroccan spices makes an easy family dinner.
The ingredient of Hawawshi
- 500g beef mince
- 1 brown onion finely chopped
- 1 green capsicum seeded finely chopped
- 1 large ripe tomato finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 4 cup finely chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1 4 cup finely chopped coriander
- 2 tsp moroccan spice fusion
- 1 4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 6 pita pockets halved crossways
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- greek style yoghurt to support
- lemon wedges to support
The Instruction of hawawshi
- preheat oven to 240c 220c fan forced adjoin beef onion capsicum tomato garlic parsley coriander moroccan spice fusion and cayenne pepper in a large bowl season well like salt and pepper
- divide beef join up into twelve even portions place beef mixture into each pita pocket half gently pressing to flatten lightly brush the pita breads considering olive oil wrap each pita bread loosely in baking paper place approximately a baking tray see note bake for 15 minutes incline and bake for a supplementary new 15 minutes or until golden brown and furious through advance once yoghurt and lemon wedges
